A tooth may need to be extracted if it is beyond repair, this could be due to trauma, decay, gum disease or an infection.

We will always try our best to save a tooth, our dentists are highly skilled and will only remove a tooth as a last resort.

If a tooth does need to be extracted, we will make it as pain free as possible. We will make sure the tooth and gum are completely numb with local anaesthetic. We will not proceed if it still causing pain.

After the tooth has been removed, we will provide you with verbal and written instructions of how to care for the area.
